Check out our amazing team: www.mindmatters.clinic/about

THE ROLE

This is a 12-month fixed term, fully remote (work-from-home) position, with a minimum of 0.6 FTE (24 hours) that you can structure to suit your schedule. We require at least 4 hours of overlap with business hours, 3 days per week.

Interest in assessments is essential, especially for ADHD and autism, as these are in demand. Prior experience with neurodivergence is not required as full training is provided. Other responsibilities can be negotiated depending on your interests, but could include; providing professional supervision to workplace employees, brief therapy, clinical consultation to workplaces, designing resources such as videos, handouts, and workshops, and delivering workshops. This role offers an opportunity to grow in rapidly developing areas of clinical psychology.

You will get:

  • Flexible hours and work from home

  • Competitive salary, higher than Te Whatu Ora or Corrections

  • Benefits, including external supervision, professional development, registration and insurance costs, MacBook and iPhone

  • Supportive team environment with a CEO who values and respects our mahi (work)

  • A role that genuinely serves people – our clients rate us highly, with an average satisfaction rating of over 9/10!

  • Psychology-led, values-driven organisation that respects your profession and wellbeing

You will have:

  • Full registration under the clinical scope with the New Zealand Psychologist Board (non-negotiable)

  • Minimum availability of 24 hours per week

  • Passion for empowering people and a commitment to person-centred, ethical care

  • Openness to learn and grow, regardless of experience level

Preferred:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a multidisciplinary mental health service, e.g., Te Whatu Ora.

  • Lived experience is considered an asset to the position

  • Applications from underrepresented demographics in psychology are encouraged. We’re a rainbow-friendly, neurodivergent-friendly practice, and we offer universal and specific accommodations to our team, such as providing interview questions in advance.

  • If you happen to practice from a Te Ao Māori lens we also work with Iwi and may connect you with meaningful Kaupapa Māori mahi if interested :)

  • Significant experience will be remunerated and title adjustment to "consultant clinical psychologist" accordingly
