Alice Stevenson (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist and Lived Experience consultant based in Whangārei. Alice has special interests in psychological wellbeing, neurodivergence, and client input into health services.

Alice’s approach is friendly, down-to-earth, and honest. Her practice is guided by principles of integrity, including respect for all individuals, and providing the highest standard of client support. Alice adapts her approach flexibly to suit each person's needs, whilst drawing on evidence-based practices and research.

Alice was the recipient of the prestigious President's Award from the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists. Her industry-leading doctoral research investigated service user perspectives on clinical psychologist competence. Alice also conducted research with GPs aimed at improving access to psychological therapy for low mood. 

 

When she's away from her desk, Alice is often found near the ocean, especially the beautiful Northland East Coast beaches. Alice is also widely travelled and known to become the house cat's favourite wherever she goes.
