Charlotte Lawson

Charlotte is a fantastic psychologist specialising in neurodivergence, as well as supporting rangatahi (youth) and whānau wellbeing. She offers many years of experience in the mental health sector and works with individuals, as well as running training workshops.
Charlotte has applied experience in leadership roles in the mental health sector, as well as producing content such as articles and videos on topics related to mental health, wellbeing, and neurodivergence. When delivering workshops or designing content, Charlotte ensures information is science-backed, yet relatable and engaging. Charlotte also offers valuable lived experience as someone diagnosed as ADHD herself working in this area.
Charlotte's style is warm, genuine and inclusive. She takes a strengths-based and trauma-sensitive approach. Charlotte also has an interest in alternative therapies for when more traditional approaches are not appropriate or desired, for instance having conducted research on equine-assisted therapy and interests in somatic and yoga therapies.
Outside of work, Charlotte loves yoga, reading books in the sun with her cat, and hunting out arts festival events. She is also a knitting extraordinaire! Charlotte is based in Tāmakai Makaurau Auckland.
