
Dr Kerry Gibson
Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Kerry (she/her) is an outstanding consultant clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience. Kerry provides consultation, coaching, professional supervision, and brief psychological support. She has a particular interest in organisational dynamics, especially within human service organisations.
Kerry draws on her incredible experience to provide support to professionals and organisations. Her interests include trauma, women's professional identity, digital communication and digital mental health interventions.
Kerry provides invited keynotes internationally and has been featured in media, including the New Zealand Herald, Radio New Zealand, and Stuff. Kerry is a published book author and has many international journal article publications including in the area of youth mental health.
Kerry was previously President and is a current Fellow of the New Zealand Psychological Society. Outside of her work with MindMatters Clinic, she is also Professor of Psychology within one of the most prestigious clinical psychology training programmes in New Zealand.
Kerry has a kind, gentle, yet pragmatic style. Originally from South Africa, Kerry is based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. When she's not at work, Kerry enjoys ocean swimming, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
