Raquel Murphy (Ngāti Awa, Whakatōhea, Ngāpuhi; she/her) is a passionate and experienced registered nurse. Drawing on her clinical experience and understanding of robust scientific methodologies, Raquel supports our work with organisations in the areas of data collection and analysis, as well as assisting individuals undergoing clinical assessments. 

 

​​Raquel is registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and draws on nearly a decade of experience in emergency nursing as well as private health screening services. This means she understands the full spectrum of hauora (wellbeing), including working with people with physical health difficulties or who are navigating crisis. Raquel also has a strong appreciation of the importance of accessing timely and validating health and wellbeing services.

Raquel's approach is genuine, compassionate, and non-judgemental. She is highly dedicated and knowledgeable. Raquel has a special interest in evidence-informed and contextual understandings of wellbeing to empower individuals, workplaces, and the whānau (families) and communities they support.

Outside of her mahi (work), Raquel loves spending time with her whānau including her son and cheeky dog Oscar. She's also known to be an organisation extraordinaire! Raquel is based in Rotorua.
